American Consul Kills Two, But will be set Free by Pressure from White House

January 30, 2011

Just like the American rapist in the Philippines was convicted but not even jailed in Manila a few years back, now, an American Consul shot two Pakistani men but the Americans are demanding his immediate freedom.
No matter that two Pakistanis were shot dead, but his story is that they were trying to rob him so he killed them both.  We know how Pakistan feels about this, as it has happened to us in Manila.  I guess in a day or two he will be released even if he killed two people. Here is the CNN story:
Pakistani police escort U.S. diplomat Raymond Davis to a courthouse.

Islamabad, Pakistan (CNN) — The U.S. Embassy in Pakistan is calling for the immediate release of a consular employee who allegedly shot to death two Pakistanis as they tried to rob him.
The unnamed diplomat — who has a U.S. diplomatic passport — is being “unlawfully detained” by authorities in the city of Lahore.
The American was driving in a busy area known as Kartaba Chawk on Thursday when two boys on a motorcycle tried to rob him, said police official Faisal Rana. The American shot both boys, he said.
Rana identified the American as Raymond Davis, but the embassy does not identify him in its statement.
“The diplomat acted in self-defense when confronted by two armed men on motorcycles,” the embassy said. “The diplomat had every reason to believe that the armed men meant him bodily harm.”
The two men, who have a criminal history, had robbed a Pakistani citizen at gunpoint in the same area minutes earlier, the embassy said.
The diplomat’s arrest violates the Vienna Convention, to which Pakistan is a signatory, the embassy said.
After the shooting, the boys’ families filed a complaint against the consular employee, accusing him of two murders, a police spokesman said.
Nayab Haider said the complaint, called a “first information report,” prompts an official investigation by police, who will submit their findings to a court. The court then will decide on what, if any, charges will be filed.

So who are the terrorists now?  They can do whatever they want and get away with it.  Those who can rape and kill and get away free, or  America will exert pressure until the affected country releases the rapists and killers.  These poor countries, if they apply their laws, face the wrath of the most powerful country in the world.  And we wonder why they are always portray themselves as the poor country who always get bombed or attacked.  What about the young girl who was raped and now the two men who were shot dead?

Bravo, America!!  You sure know how to talk about practicing human rights but think nothing about raping and killing in third world countries.  Kinda convenient for you, don’t you think?  We are people too, you know?  Only not as rich as you, hence the likes of Bill O Reilly and Fox News Staffers.

I think your analysis is very biased. Just as mentioned that man had every reason to believe those two men meant the American bodily harm. It is tragic, but it seems to be self-defense.

Frankly, you simply to be one those people who just hate America and Americans.

    Americans are people too.

And America has done more good for this world, including third- world countries, than any other country on it. Americans are incredibly generous in giving hard-earned money to those who are less fortunate throughout the world. So please stop your anti-Americanism, which is based on hate and emotion and not rational thinking.

Don’t blame my nation just because it’s “powerful.” Perhaps third-world nations should model America, so they can be powerful too, and not have to be so dependent?

    • It was proven that this Davis character was working as a spy for the CIA, contracted by what was formerly known as Blackwater, now known as Exe. Contrary to the claims of Obama and H Clinton, he was no consul. He was a SPY.
As it is, if he was so innocent, then why were millions paid to the families of the dead in the form of “blood money”?
I have American friends, and they are all all great. But the Bush war on Iraq was one for oil, not anything else. Watch how Cheney, the man behind Bush, burned a CIA agent outright when her husband was accused of doing and saying things that were untrue. That movie was based on a true Story, as you will see in the end portion, where the outted agent, outted by no less than Karl Novak upon orders from Dick Cheney testifies before a congressional committee. Americans are inherently good, but they sure got fooled by Bush, Cheney and their cabal of oil-thirsty businessmen. I pity the soldiers who died in Iraq and more so their families to push forward the agenda of Bush to get their oil. It’s the facts. Ma’am, just the facts.
